I just wanted to add that no modifications have been made to the grinder. Ive been meaning to make the tape sweeper mod, like most dosers it leave some grinds behind, but never got around to it.Leave a comment:

!!SOLD!!: Compak K3 Elite
For sale is my Compak K3 Elite grinder.
Since purchasing my Gino Rossi the grinder is now surplus to my needs and I can’t really justify keeping it, as much as I’d like to.
Condition
Just over a year old and in excellent condition. Grinder would have done somewhere between 9-11kg. No significant scratches or marking to speak, my awful photography probably doesn’t do the grinder justice. No faults - occasionally the doser doesn’t turn when you pull the lever but I believe this is normal and really haven’t found a problem. Only seems to happen when the doser is empty.
Price
I’m asking $480 which is $200 below the cheapest price I could find. I believe it would be a better option for someone considering a new Rocky. Could also be a cheaper option for someone looking for a Mazzer Mini. Greg Pullman has written an excellent comparison of the two http://coffeetamper.com.au/**/reviews/mini-k3/
Collection
I’m located in Adelaide but am more than happy to send via courier with www.e-go.com.au or if you prefer you can arrange your own. I have lots of good quality packaging material left over from my GR. The only delicate part is the hopper. If the hopper arrives broken I will replace it at my cost. Local pick up can be from the CBD during business hours or in Brooklyn Park after hours.
