Definately OT but I spy with my little eye a great big Gaggia America in the background. 8-)

How is the lacquer on the base and other parts apart from the boiler?
About the same. Spotty and rubbed through in places. Brass components like the group head and boiler cap have been polished so lacquer is non existent on these parts. Big deal.

The machine is a 25 year old, working espresso lever. If you want an immaculate, as new show pony to look at then this is not the machine for you. Cosmetics aside, the function, build quality and shot quality (fantastic) of this Elektra is the same as it was way back then. Nothing has changed in this regard.

Price reduced to $800. If i cant get this here or elsewhere then he can stay - not exactly an eyesore.

    Snobs had the first option.

    Ooroo

    Withdrawn: Elektra microcasa lever

I mentioned in the FS post for my Pavoni  that I was thinking of also selling my Elektra microcasa leva.

Well, here it is. I’m just not using it anymore now my wife lets me use her Aurora Europa and I have my Elektra semi auto if I need to fondle another eagle.

My wife reckons they look like seagulls but anyway...

    • Brass and copper model  S1
    • Year of manufacture 1985
    • New pressurestat and group seal
    • One double basket

Good condition with modest wear for a 25 year old machine. Parts of the clear coating on the boiler have worn through in spots and some of the copper plating on the base is rubbed through.

This classic machine will keep knocking out beautiful, clarity laden shots for another 25 years if looked after.

Can pick up in Langwarrin or I will post at buyer’s expense.

    $850

    Thanks for looking,

    Don
