Fellow coffee snobs,
It is with sadness that I list my reliable 3-Group Rancilio machine. It has served me well for the last couple of yers - but upgraditis bit and now it has to go.
It has an almost brand new element (a one group element so it takes a while to heat up - about 45 minutes), and the boiler was recently descaled.
The screw on the shower screen on the middle element is burred - so I havent been able to clean it lately, other than with the regulatory backflush).
All groups are in good working order, though the seals are oldish.
The external procon pump is currently held together by wires - my original pump died, and the local repair place gave me (for free) a pump that didnt have the same attachment for the motor. I might, in the next few days, try to find a way to attach it more securely.
It still delivers the requisite pressure for pulling great shots - and I have had no troubles drawing water from a reservoir.
It is big. And heavy. But it is reliable. There are a couple of small scratches on the back panel.
It comes with two standard double shot portafillers, and one naked portafiller, and two double shot baskets, and one single shot basket.
Asking price=$700 (ono)
Location=Keperra, Brisbane
Feel free to ask for more questions. Ill put up some photos shortly.
If its not sold by the time my new machine arrives Ill be sticking it on ebay (reluctantly).
Its a beautiful machine. Ill stick some pictures up soon.
