Re: FS Gene Cafe Roaster - Sydney
Hi Linda,
Thanks for those encouraging words
I have had a great run with this machine but it just doesnt make sense to ship it overseas.
This will give me a great opportunity to justify upgrading to a new roaster ;D
I will keep the coffee for the buyer for now as I know what a pain it can be to try to build a good base. You normally end up with 20 or so kg of coffee to get the variety that you need

Re: FS Gene Cafe Roaster - Sydney
Why hasnt this gone??

If I was in the market for one these I would be on it like flies at a picnic.
Top bargain for anyone who wants to start on home roasting.
Awesomesauce machine [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
BJ....If you are selling the beans off seperately, I will take some of them.

just to move this along. the price has dropped to $550 (this includes green beans worth $50).
i will also now consider posting it through a courier (buyer to organise) but would prefer pick up if possible

!!SOLD!!: Gene Cafe Roaster - Sydney
I am parting ways with my beloved companion of nearly a year. We are moving overseas so I cant take it with me.
I purchased my Gene Cafe brand new in late July 2009 from Talk Coffee and have used it very moderately since then. I calculated that I have gone through about 15-17kg of coffee in total. It is still in great shape without any major marks or scratches and it comes in its original box complete with the manual.
I bought it for $740 (I still have the receipt) on July 2009 and am asking $600 for it.
I will also include the 4.7kgs of beans (worth roughly $50) that I have left, so you get a good base to start off with. The following beans are included in (various quantities of course
):
- Ethiopian Harar
- Ethiopian Sidamo
- Ethiopian Gambella Sundried
- Nicaragua Dipilto Estate
- Uganda Busamaga
- Uganda AA
- PNG Waghi
- PNG Peaberry
- Sumatra Mandheling
- Costa Rica Tarrazu
- Indian Monsoon Malabar
- Indian Cherry Robusta
- Decaf (Swiss Water Processed)
It is available for pickup from Miranda NSW. Please PM me if you are interested.
