Ive had this grinder from new for about 10 months roughly. This is my second Tranquilo and was bought exclusively for DeCaf. I would estimate about 10 - 12 kgs have gone thru the grinder may be even less.
I have just opened it up and given it a good clean and blow out with compressed air , then re-assembled. It should provide many years of service .
*** noted that grinding wheels are rated at 800kg before replacement.
