I Roast 2, couple of months old, roasted approx 3kgs.

Bought from Coffee Craft 31st August this year.

Will put some images up soon

Asking $300 will through in 1kg green beans. Can post or available for pickup on northside of Brisbane.

Got the pictures up finally, thanks for that Mal.

I am just curious why are you selling it. Doesn`t it do a good enough job?

I have not had any experience with any other type of roaster. Was paying $38-$45 a kilo for fresh coffee from 5 senses and thought I should start roasting my own because buying roasted was costing me a fortune.

I am happy with the coffee that it roasts. I just dont like the noise.

I was drinking Harris beans from Coles on a Breville 12 months ago. In view of that the I Roast is good enough 1000 times over.

So what are you doing once you sell it - going back to buying roasted coffee? Upgrading?

I ask because Im slightly tempted to try roasting my own, but suspect it would not work out for various reasons.

Roasting is great. Not because Im trying to sell you my roaster but it is a source of fresh, high quality coffee and the green beans are much cheaper than roasted.

I will probably go back to roasted for a while but would like a Gene Cafe. I do like the sound of the Behmor but would rather go the extra and get the Gene. I see there going $699 at the moment seems a good deal.

The demands on my time mean I can only realy roast in the evening, and the noise of the I roast make that difficult with a 7 month old baby a two year old and 4 year old with serious health problems.

It is recomended not to roast continually or back to back batches on the I roast. So even on weekends, with a 150g limit, I am finding it hard to let my coffee rest for more than a couple of days before I run out cause I cant keep up production.

The I roast is pretty simple to use and gets decent results, but it is noisy and is a small batch roaster.
