Your minis doing well at my place roknee

I am inclined to agree with wife as I LOVE my kitchenaid. Im not sure I could taste the difference in the grind between little Mazzer and giant Mazzer.

Back on topic - good buy! ALL your gear looks brand new.

Sorry for being off topic. I just had to say im well and truly gobsmacked at the sight of two Mazzers in a domestic household.
Ok, well... :-? i can now understand your other half prefering the mini-e. Why you bought the Major i cant fathom when the mini-e does the same quality grind as the Major.

Here is a picture I took with my phone a while ago.

As you can see it is considerably larger than the mini-e, which my wife prefers.

Can you include one with the wifes Kitchen Aid next to it for a size comparison, so we can see just how big it is.

    Hi guys

I’ll post photos when I get time, but pickup is available in Melbourne so anyone is welcome to come and see / test / use the mazzer before purchase.

Also I just sold my isomac granmacinino to askthecoffeeguy, who can verify that I’m a top guy to deal with.

Any serious buyers are welcome to PM me with any questions or concerns.

Id reckon some equipment validation photos wouldnt hurt either - given the value involved...

For example, photos of the machine and a close-up of the nameplate, plus photo of the purchase receipt which displays the date, machine ID and vendors name (other details can be blurred out). Cant be too careful in my opinion.... :-?

Agreed, given a brand new RRP of under $2.1k inc GST ($1.9k ex. GST) and 2 shots in the 2 months or so which you have owned it, its essentially brand new and very much borderline as far as site sales and posting policy is concerned.

fivegallon was just being light hearted about the situation.
Id love one of those but maybe one day...

What I think MFT is saying is that the larger Mazzer Major takes up more room than his previous grinder, thus taking away bench space from his wifes Kitchen Aid.  I really dont think he is comparing the quality of the grind to that of the Kitchen Aid with a grinding attachment.
I reckon we all pretty much knew that and were just extracting some urine......  well i was anyway
