Hello.

I am selling my Pavoni Pub 1EV for $1100, and I am located in North Ryde, NSW. I am willing to arrange to courier it to out of staters, but would prefer pickup.

Price includes a single and double filter handle, and a bunch of baskets, and I can throw in a few bags of roasted coffee, or some green beans if you are a roaster. I will also throw in 6 brown ACF espresso cups and saucers.

It is the plumbed in model, but I have always just used a 3l Brita filter jug to suck from, so you can do either.

I am selling as we recently moved and its too big for the kitchen. It is pretty sad, since I put quite a bit into restoring it around 18 months ago.  Have a look at the restoration thread here: http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1242303497

It was also recently serviced by Jetblack Espresso, and is in really great shape, and makes an awesome espresso.

Its a beautiful restoration Nico and anyone contemplating something in the circa $1k bracket (eg. Silvia shoppers) would be mad not to jump at your offer on a real HX machine.

Good luck with the sale. I suspect youre not going to have it for very much longer

Nico - can you do a quick measure? Mrs KJM has had a new kitchen made, with a cupboard "to hide all the coffee junk". Id guess it is bigger than the space I have (Murphys law) but heres hoping...

Hi

Height. 505 mm
Width. 385 mm
Depth. 522 mm without the portfilter.

The feet are 60 mm high, and you can get 40 mm ones from coffeeparts if you need to get the height under 500 mm.

Ps. I forgot to add that I also did the audiomat silencing mod, and I have some armaflex boiler insulation here you can have.

As per my other thread on this board, I will also look at swapping the Pav with another, smaller machine, with the possibility of cash changing hands either way, depending on what is on offer.

Darn - the depth! The depth!! It wont fit into the cupboard!!! I never thought the depth would be the limiting factor - I thought the height would nail me....

I suspect I have no solution to this, but will ruminate on it Where theres a will there is usually a way (although this involves getting it around someone else, and that might require divine intervention...)

Thats a cunning plan guys, suggest that and then sit back and wait for a cheap PIDd Silvia to come up after the funeral... Nice.

Nah - it is just tooo deep to finagle in any reasonable way. Darn.

Off topic I know, but theyre a great machine.

I was given a spotless PUB E last year. I just revisited Nicos restoration post and am now motivated to pull the boiler out and give it a good clean.

Also, whoever buys it- plumb the thing in, hook up the waste water to your drain and modify the drip tray to drain as well. This simple mod saves nasty little accidents and stops you performing the balancing act of emptying the full tray.

Sadly the Pav has now been sold.

On a happier note the Grimac La Uno arrived tonight.
