Purchased from Nirgelep for $300, which was a great price, a bit over a week ago. Here is an excert from her add.
" It works well and has been well maintained. It has no rust, just a cosmetic wear mark in the stainless steel on the side.
It will come with 2 x group handles, 2 x double baskets, 1 x single basket, rubber thingy for backflushing, plastic spout to make steaming milk better, and 57mm stainless steel tamper. "
I have since;
- descaled the boiler
- removed the shower screen and physically cleaned out the coffee residue/oils, then back flushed with Cafetto
- purchased 2 new group seals ($18) and put 1 in
- had one of the groups professionally machined converting it to naked
- buffed the mark on the side, machine looks very presentable, stickers are in VGC
- only pulled 5-10 shots
- noticed the steam wand drips a tiny bit, which is apparently normal for these machines, I read about it in Greg Pullmans tech tips artcile for this machine. I puchased a new steam tap (was only $10) to see if it would make any difference but it is meant for a Lelit and didnt fit. Its not really an issue as the dripping is only occasional.
The day after I purchased the machine a friend lent me a La Pavoni lever machine. I played with the Pav paired up with a Robur while the group seals were in transit and have lost interest in the Nemox...
Can see running.
