For Sale: Clean Sunbeam EM4800 Coffee Machine (glossy finish).
Don’t want to spend $$$ to experiment espresso coffee? Or want a machine for a friend potential CS. Like I did, you can find out with little cost whether you are going to explore the world of Espresso and enjoy real coffee or stay with 43 beans instant coffee.
Here is a clean but used EM4800 that has been descaled in Mid December 2010, well looked after coffee machine. The general looks of the machine are excellent. The group seal has been checked to be in good condition. In fair condition is the group handle cup exterior but rest assured any coffee grit has been cleaned out regularly including inside the bottom plastic bit. The drip tray bottom is coffee stained like all used EM4800 but not visible when in use. The steam wand has lost its chrome finish due to too much scrubbing off of sticky milk residue. There is a small split at the entrance of the froth attachment but it does not affect its function, CS members say to throw it away anyway.
Other than that it is in good working condition. It comes with Group Handle, single and double cup pressurised filter baskets, froth enhancement steam attachment and stainless steel milk frothing jug plus plastic tamper with measuring spoon.
