Up for sale: Rancilio Silvia v2 with v3 steam arm and accesories (double/single/blind filters, original coffee scoop and plastic tamper)
Details
Purchased: 28 June 2007 (from Di Bartoli); upgraded to v3 steam arm 8 Sept 2010 (from Espresso Mechanics); group seal replaced (8 Sept 2010)
Avg. Usage: once a day, 5-6 times/week up till February 2011
Reason for sale: not needed as bought Isomac Zaffiro in February 2011
Price: $400
Location: Brisbane (Indooroopilly) - prefer pick up, but am open to postage at buyers arrangement and cost
Care: brita jug filtered water; daily water backflush, weekly chemical backflush; descale every 4-6 months. Machine has been given a very good clean and final descale.
Condition (brew/steam): machine is in excellent functioning order - I have encountered no issues at all
Condition (cosmetic): Machine bears the marks of 4 years of usage. I would still say that it is in good condition, with obvious but minor marks/scuffing of the stainless steel. A couple of spots of minor rusting (cosmetic and does not affect function at all) - see photos for an indication.
