FOR SALE--Diadema Junior EXTRA
Purchased just on two years ago this excellent machine is now available for a fellow CoffeeSnob to use and enjoy.
It is in “almost new” condition and comes with some extras and some upgrades and at a bargain price!
Condition:
Some light scratching on the drip tray from cups.
The top has been protected with a wooden mat and is as new.
The rest of the shiny stainless is in it’s original condition and has been cleaned with a soft micro-fibre cloth. It may come with a few fingerprints.
Machine has only been used with a Bombora Filter & Softening System, and has been regularly backflushed. Never de-scaled—it hasn’t needed it.
Extras:
Two group handles, one ‘bottomless’, the other is original.
A double Synesso basket and the original double, single, and blind baskets.
The wooden mat for the top deck.
Water tank internal resin water softener (basically useless).
Spare group head gasket.
100 gm. backwash detergent.
Cheap plastic tamper, original, never used!
Upgrades:
A short extension has been added to the outlet of the 3-way valve to stop spattering of the drip tray and to quieten operation.
The boiler has been insulated with Insul-Brite, a non-toxic, non-shedding material that would easily be removed and refitted if repairs were necessary.
All vibrating panels have been treated with high temperature sound damping.

Reason for sale:
I never thought I’d part with this machine—it was the machine that would cure ‘upgraditis’ forever. Well it lasted two years, and that’s one more year than the previous machine.
As of today--incoming: Izzo Nuova Pompei Lever! (Thanks Chris.)
Price:
With a current recommended retail of $2950 this machine is a bargain at $1990 (firm).
Pick-up preferred but will pack and ship at your cost and risk. It should be available in about a fortnight—right after the Izzo is plumbed in.
