Ive just recently overcome my dose of upgraditis by purchasing Grahams Minore III, so my 20 month old Venus is available for any entry level CSer also feeling the symptoms of this illness. ;D
I have just descaled and cleaned the shower and group head etc. and she is ready to go.
I have not had any problems/concerns apart from the rare times of trying to meet the demand of consecutive shots and milk stretching for a group of friends. Single boiler, not designed for this load.
I live alone, so would average one or two coffees a day.
It has been a great step up machine from my old Saeco Via Venezia, but like others here, I am on a journey.
Asking $700 and will include an as new naked porta-filter at that price.
Otherwise, it comes with the included when new bits, such as the good old plastic tamper and scoop.
Prefer pick up of course, but still have original box and can post at buyers expense.
If anyone is near (or planning to visit) Maitland for the Aroma Festival I can arrange a demo.
I have (hopefully) attached a pdf review of the Venus which maybe helpful to interested buyers.
