My Breville Dual Boiler (BES900) has arrived, and there is now a spare Silvia on my kitchen bench crying out for attention.
I have purchased this Silvia from Julie at Coffee-A-Roma in mid 2007 (thanks K-Rudd for your stimulus bonus), and have used it every morning and occasional weekends. Ive descaled it every 6 months, and backflush it every month without fail. On a few occasions, I remove the shower screen with a spanner to remove any old coffee grounds to ensure nothing but satisfying goodness from this baby.
Prior to packing it into the original box, I descaled and backflushed the machine for hygiene purposes. The new owner would be able to use it out of the box.
My Silvia is only fed with high quality fresh beans from Campos, Di Bella and Tobys Estate, freshly grounded by my old trusty Rocky before selling it away 2 months back. No supermarket coffee nonsense.
For a well-taken care 2 year old machine, I hope my asking price of $530 is reasonable. While I do prefer pickup (from Lane Cove or North Ryde during office hours), freight delivery will be arranged through Hunter Express (www.e-go.com.au) due to my past experiences with them (buyers expense). Freight prices for capital cities:
* Melbourne 3000 : $22.50
* Sydney 2000 : $11.50
* Adelaide 5000 : $25.00
* Perth 6000 : $36.00
* Brisbane 4000 : $22.50
Please PM me your postcode if you do not live in any other the capital cities listed above.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Cheers,
Darryl.
