Hey all, I have the following kit for sale:
1 x Rancilio Silvia v2, purchased new in Oct 2007.
1 x Rancilio Rocky Doserless Grinder, purchased from another member late 2007 & fitted with new burrs at the time.
All my accessories:
1 x Rancilio v2 portafilter
1 x Rancilio v2 naked portafilter
Pullman tamper (Jarrah)
Grindenstein knock-box (grey)
LM single & double baskets
Blind filter
Single PF spout
Small jar of Caffetto Organic
Small s/s milk jug
Breville popper & green beans
Total cost was over $1300.
Asking $750, pickup only.
Reason for selling:
I started out using the Silvia 2-3 times a week for morning coffee, and then dropped to once a week - now I think its been an average once a month.
I just spent the last hour trying to teach my wife how to use the Silvia & Rocky - she doesnt like it & thinks it takes too long! (had to adjust the grind, which probably didnt help).
Id spent the previous hour doing a full disassembly & clean on them both (all parts scrubbed & soaked in caffeto), and have only done 200g of beans and ~8 shots since.
