I purchased this La Pavoni Professional lever machine in January 2003 and it was in constant use until June 2008 when I got my Giotto.
The Pav has been sitting in its box ever since, but having recently moved house and noticed quite a few Coffeesnobs seem interested in these machines I thought Id give someone the chance to give it a loving new home.
It comes in the original box with all original components plus a better tamper that I purchased to use instead of the notoriously bad included plastic one.
It is in excellent condition. There is one scratch on the section where the group head comes out from the body, but this is cosmetic only (no rust) and the attached photo makes it look much worse than it actually is. No rust under the drip tray or anywhere else. I had the machine serviced once and all the seals/gaskets replaced. Fired it up today to make sure it still works - which it does, but a new owner might want to replace the seals so you know what condition they are in given its been idle for over 3 years.
Price is $550 and not negotiable.
Pick up in North Melbourne or I can organise a courier at cost if desired.
