Thank you Sam for this machine and for bringing it and giving me instructions on how to use it with the PID upgrade.

Ive made my first coffee with it now and its more than acceptable - cant wait to see how good I can make it as I learn more.

Hi. Are you willing to post to Adelaide? How old is the machine? (As a v3 I guess it cant be that old).

Im new to coffee snobs and the Sylvia looks lke the best place to start (Ive had two cheaper consumer machines which have failed and dont seem worth repairing). How much difference do you find the PID makes to the basic Sylvia?
