  • !!!SOLD!!! - FS: La Pavoni Europicola

Moving and I have to downsize a few things.... So, much loved Pavoni is up for sale. I bought this in Italy in 2003 and used it regularly until about 2008. Once you get the hang of it, it makes fantastic coffee. It works fine but cosmetically there is a flaw- under the black plastic drip tray it is rusted fairly significantly. This doesnt affect the operation and its only visible with the drip tray removed. Happy to provide photos to all interested. $400 Plus postage

Unfortunately, the buyer of this didnt bother turning up to pay and collect. Now hes not answering messages, so Id have to say this is available again. Sorry for the mix up. Hopefully better luck this time.
              Cheers, Trent

Are you able to provide a pic of the rust? If I tried to remove it would it create a hole?

                        Hi mate,

As SniffCoffee pointed out, I bought this in Italy and it does have a euro plug. A simple travel adapter (about $5) is all that is required as the heating element has no problem with our electricity. Im sure you could change it to an Oz plug. I like it as is. Thanks.
                        Cheers,
                        Trent

Its the identical machine as sold in Oz. 240/220v just with a different plug. Cant believe its still for sale for how cheap it is. . The rust is nothing.

Stick in on ebay and dont waste your time here..

I agree, the rust is nothing. Happens to a lot of these machines - its only cosmetic and its covered up by the drip tray so cannot actually be seen. Its easy to stop the spread of the rust - mine has rust, did when I bought it, but it hasnt grown a mm since - just be sure to always wipe under the drip tray when cleaning up. And although these machines are renowned for rust under the drip tray, they dont rust elsewhere. It really isnt a problem.

A well priced machine. Good luck with the sale.
