Hey all
The rancilio lucy is exactly the same as a silvia and rocky combo, but it is built into one.
Ive owned the lucy for a couple years now, i bought her second hand and it was only a couple of years old. It has been unused for approx 6months as i have recently upgraded to a giotto evoluzione.
I changed the group seal, steam knob (was leaking pressure) and gave it a full descale.
It served me well as my first machine, regularly back flushed and descaled.
It comes with a original twin spout portafilter with a double basket, i think it is a synesso. The only two problems are that it is missing the rubber sleeve that goes over the steam wand. The other is the grinder might need to have the teflon trick done on the threaded rod inside the grinder. I believe it may be coming slightly loose, which is common problem for all rocky grinders.
Makes a good coffee once you get the hang of it. The perfect first machine if you are just getting into the world of home espresso.
Im looking at $550
Any test welcome, machine is located in Keilor Melbourne.
