Hi People, back from holidays and made some time to post the photos etc.
I was one of the lucky ones winning a new EM6910 and Grinder from Gloria Jeans. Before yall chastise me for ever considering Gloria Jeans for coffee, this was in fact my wife who entered the competition whilst getting her daily grind at work.
This makes my current EM6910 available for sale.
History
1) Purchased new in 2009
2) Cleaned and DeScaled from day dot every three months minimum
3) Has made 2 coffees daily every day since its inception
4) Started blowing seals 18 months later in 2010 and hence joined here. Troubleshooted with AM and co to discover that the Collar was worn.
5) Applied all tweaks and mods as recommended by AM - these included rubber spacers from Sunbeam, group head mod to improve slope and impact on collar, finding the ideal height of tampered grinds and use of food grade oil when installing the group head.
The mods extended the life of the original collar for 12 months. I replaced the collar entirely in May of this year. The seal as installed remains in great condition.
I descaled this machine and cleaned to prepare for sale. It is now boxed up ready for delivery with all the original equipment and new collar installed (old one avail too).
With prior arrangement and payment, I can post it anywhere in Australia in its original packaging.
Sale price before it gets listed on ebay some time in the future is $195 (excl delivery).
