Whats the nick of the rubber seal??

The group seal in the machine has some wear but is OK (theres probably some mechanical wear to the group head & portafilter mating surfaces too, but nothing unbearable); the extra seal is new.

Mines wearing out. I was going to go to Sunbeam to get replacements (Im also due for replacing the anti-calc filter that gets inserted in the reservoir), but if youre willing i might take the seal, the anti-calc filter, and the naked portafilter.

Would you be willing to sell them as separate parts?

I think the anti-calc filter may well be due for replacement as well, so I wouldnt sell it as a separate item. I would like to sell everything as one lot if possible, but will divvy up the portafilter and seal if theres no further interest.

I have a well-used EM6910 purchased on this forum 11 months ago. I bought it for my parents to use, but it didnt happen.

Its supplied with a single-wall double basket, a double-wall double basket, two single-wall single baskets, a rubber blind insert for backflushing, a spare group seal, a ~600mL stainless milk jug, a stainless tamper and a plastic coffee scoop.

Some points to note:

1) The steam wand switch does not work. So, no milk steaming.

2) The portafilter was converted to a naked type by the previous owner. Your coffee distribution/tamping technique will have to be good to minimise channeling and spraying. (Mines improved, but not enough to completely eliminate the spraying. )

3) The drip tray plastic is cracked at the two rear corners. A bit of glue or silicone caulk might fix this.







Asking $90, pickup preferred from Ferntree Gully/Knoxfield in VIC. Might also be able to drop it off near the CBD during business hours.
