Hi Mal,

Ive been a long time lurker and have been looking to upgrade my Gaggia Carezza for a while and I think a Mokita with PID is a good next logical step as I also have a lux grinder. Can you tell me where you are (Im in south west Sydney) and what the PID controller arrangement is (more about where your thermocouple is and your parameter settings and how you have found it / use it) rather than the theory.

Hi All,

Well, the time has come to put my much loved Mokita(with PID Control) up for sale. Basic Data and History is:-

• Approx 2 years old.
• PID Controller - Allows the Mokita to punch in a much higher weight range.
• Internal wiring left "as original" with temporary "bridges" to facilitate removal of PID hardware should this become desirable.
• Commercial double spout fitted to PF in place of original plastic/split steel one.
• Absolutely NO scratches, dings or blemishes on the unit anywhere... Like new.
• Recently de-scaled with dilute Citric Acid soak and flush.... No detritus observable in flushed out fluid.
• Regularly back-flushed and cleaned with Espresso Clean... Coffee and 3-Way Valve water circuits are spotless.
• New Group Gasket fitted.
• All originally supplied fittings and hardware included, including original Users Manual (for what its worth :-?).
• Base of a Greg Pullman Tamper included (not the handle, I need that for my new base to suit the Bezzera ), custom made for this Mokitas PF Baskets.
• Brand new Silvia Steam Wand for wand extension if desired. I never got around to doing it as I just dont texture milk all that often.
• Will be packed back into original carton for shipping.

Selling for $500.00 as a going concern as described. Prefer NOT to split the PID Controller from the Mokita.
