!!SOLD!! Hottop (Digital) group order

After much negotiation (I have never bargained so hard in my life :), it looks like I may just be able to get an initial toe in the water batch of 10 x digital Hottop roasters into the country for CS members.

Sell price would be $1000 and with a 12 month parts only warranty (they are easy to repair if anything goes wrong)....Unlimited phone and email support as per usual  .

Talk Coffee would act legally and supply a proper Tax invoice (inclusive of GST) unlike previous sales of this roaster into the country...

Ill make a decision either way by the end of the week depending on the feedback received from members...So.....nows the time to speak up if you think youd like a Hottop?

$1000? After strenuous bargaining? Ugh I have trouble scratching together enough moolah for beer on tight arse tuesday at the uni bar, let alone a beautiful but hideously expensive coffee roaster.

Sometimes I think that maybe I shouldve just passed on the whole Ill become a barista! idea. It hasnt made me any money - infact its just made me a caffeine addicted spendaholic. Damn beans of greatness.

Yeppers- and unlike previous OZ sales, we all have to do GST thing....which the other vendor wont do....So I get an effective $900 whereas he takes the lot and runs

Now if I sell 100 of them, it might actually be worth my time given that the margin is pretty much nada....Why was I doing that again?? Theres better return out of a cheap grinder....

What sort of timeframe are we talking about here? Days, weeks, months?

Ive, for a while now, had my eyes on a Hottop with the intention of getting one sometime in the next year.

If this will come to fruition in the very near future, Ill have to have a serious think about how far my finances will stretch before committing.

Wed be talking delivery by late next week...I will only take the batch if all are pre-sold....Believe me when I say that Id gladly swap my margin for the GST...but I also think its time that things were done right.

All- it looks as if w have 5 interested parties so far.....If we can get another 2 or 3...Ill go ahead...

All- there are further delays....

The plan was for supply direct from the Brisbane stocks for this small batch...now we find that they have 1 only unit....

Im negotiating with the factory on an import.....there will be delays...

Ill rebirth the thread when I know more...
