I have a buddy who teaches with me at the Coffee Academy with an ECM Giotto classic (NB Not Giotto premium) and hes moving to bigger things coffeewise....so hes keen to sell it...It would appear that upgarditis has set in :

Major differences over the premium:
-Slightly less steam pressure- still more than adequate though
-Wands are not ball-jointed...they rotate through one arc
-Wands are standard 10mm female tip and not cool touch
The machine has just spent a week with the guys at ECM Sydney for a full service and more including internal check and replacement of the element.
I think that the machine is about 3 years old....but other than normal external wear and tear, it should be absolutely top notch...He looks after his toys
