Re: Free to Good(?) Home - San Marino 2grp

Just a question for everyone, how much will it cost if shipping this machine to Melbourne?

As far as the fairness goes, for my money (and no, Im not in the running) I would suggest some combination of "first in-first served" and how much effort you want to go to in terms of shipping.

It looks like a nice get for somebody handy.

giving that away is gonna bring you some good karma

I hope the new owner pays forward some of that karma to someone !!

          Thanks.
I just updated last nights pics with some I took this am. Not sure if she looks better the morning after ;-) But since the pics arent great, it is old, does have scratches, may have a few dents & dings, is covered in dust & MAY HAVE PROBS (ie I dont want any BAD karma coming my way because the winner thought it was a new / perfect machine! - pls remember Im calling it a "Parts" machine)

Not sure on cost. But I have the pallet that our new machine came on we could use. - smaller than a normal pallet. Machine is ~74cm wide, ~54cm high & ~64cm deep. The pallet I have is ~104cm x ~74cm x ~10cm Not sure in weight, but Id guess its around 60kg

Re: Free to Good(?) Home - San Marino 2grp

Michael, MrSeca has messaged you on my behalf but rather than keep him in the middle I thought I would sign up myself and post to you. MrSeca was telling me about the machine so that we could possibly get it for use at a non-profit organisation. I am happy to give you more details about that if you would like to know them.

I am quite handy as is MrSeca my friend and we have repaired, stripped and cleaned and modified our own home machines and we would not be upset with you or send bad Karma to you if it fell apart / blew up or a piece fell off or function didnt work. I would be happy to make a donation to Fair crack or participate in an auction.

I have a relative who will be in the CBD on Sunday and could come over to pick it up from about 12-12:30 if we could come to an arrangement, as she is travelling to my place the following weekend.

Look forward to talking to you soon.

Wish I had 4 machine to give away, but I dont. So how to choose...several ppl suggest first in best dressed, which seems reasonable to me. Some ppl are interstate, and thats a bit more messing around packaging it up and then others have really good causes worth supporting. Some have machines already some dont. Difficult choosing who the winner is, but there can only be one.......and it is..........

Congrats to Sooty. He lives nearby, and will take a look on w/e. If he wants it its his, freebee. If it turns out she is a bit ugly in the flesh/metal, then Ill pm the runner up. (yes we drew names out of a hat - coffee box actually)

If you want to look at the machine we might be giving away in 5-6 years :-) come in to the store sometime. (There are currently only 2 of these machines in SA & ours is the only Blue one)

I was going to throw my name in the ring too, but I knew it would end up one of those projects I simply never get around to.

                          Which Michells do you own?

Gday everyone, just met the owner of Michels in Blackwood today, nice guy, even nicer choosing me to have his ex-machine. Will be going straight to my repair guy tomorrow for some exploratory surgery. Will keep all up to date with the progress.
Now, does anyone have a manual for this unit?
                              Thanks, Sooty
