Due to upgrade (to what else... a Rocket Giotto Premium Plus) I have my ECM Giotto Premium for sale and CSers get the first shot at it before it goes elsewhere
I bought this machine around 18 months ago from a friend. He is very much (professionally) into coffee and very fussy, so I know that the machine was well looked after as this was his home machine. I too have kept it clean and am very meticulous in doing so. The previous owner said that he didn’t use it for much of the time he had it (6-12 months) and was packed up in a box, which is why he sold it to me.
I have the box, packaging and all the bits that came with it – 2 x group handles, single/double/blank baskets and plastic tamper. I have not had any hassles with it.
The machine does not have any major marks around the body. There are some usual scuffs on the cup warmer and some light scratches on the drip tray and front. I would describe the machine as being in good condition for its age.
I make about 10 cups a week on average on it and clean it after each day and perform a back flush every weekend; using chemicals every 6 weeks or so to clean. I have recently changed shower screen as part of routine maintenance.
Now to be honest, it really hard to put a price on this as I have not seen one for sale for a while (except for one for auction which finished on Monday) and I have been told anywhere between $1600 and $1900 so I have put a tag of $1750 on it to start with. I will take reasonable offers so I guess the market will set the price. I am in no great rush to sell so am happy to wait a bit in order to get the right price to pay for my new toy.
Feel free to ask questions. I can email more photos too if required.
Strong preference given for pickup - Canberra, but am able to pack in the original box if buyer is prepared to take the risk AND to organise a courier to pickup. I *may* be able to organise a skid/pallet to put the machine on for the courier.
