Original popper bling!

The mighty Bling Popper finally pooped its guts last weekend (cracked fan, no longer spins under load).

If anyone wants the original bling from the original bling popper, its free to a good home (though any donations to the "buy Matty a heatgun/beans/beer" fund are welcome...)

Ahh and it was such lovely bling too. If you were in WA Id go for it just for the historical value - I could put it on the Crazy popper and point to it saying "and this was the first of the bling, once owned by Matt King-of-bling.

TG - it looks as if it will fit the Mistral/B & D range and the aperture of the crazy popper seems the same as those.

I havent measured the B&D/Mistral and wasnt asking for myself.

I just thought it would be good for potential new owners to know.

The minor OD (the part that fits into the popper) is 67.0mm, the major OD is 76.2mm (3"). Its a perfect press fit into a B&D (et al) popper.

Happy to donate to a museum 8) or to anyone willing to pick it up. Original cost was $20. You could even put it on your car if so inclined... would make the exhaust smell so much sweeter!

PS bought a Bosch heatgun today, cranked out a trial batch. Tedious, but simple enough. nice slow warmup of the beans, ~12 min 1st crack, 16 min 2nd crack. Might not get to taste it cause I stopped by The Maling Room and picked up some beans to survive on. Is it just me or does Atomica = Oily?
