For sale is a custom made 58mm tamper (58.5mm, actually). So it will better fit Bezzera, VBM and Giotto handles than most tampers will- havent tried the other brands, so wont know for sure, sorry!
The internal thread and solid machined head are both 316 s.s. - which is an extremely high quality stainless steel. The handle is made from duroplast - a high quality, strong and chemical resistant plastic. The little mat is a cutout of neoprene rubber (food grade) - resistant to 120 deg C.
I was actually using this tamper myself for a month or so until I made myself a better one - so there are a few hardly noticeable scratches. THe only thing is that it is a little small, as seen in the picture - so if youve got big hands like myself, its not for you. a good chicks tamper.
at $30 pickup or $40 delivered, its a steal - cost me HEAPS more to make.

Dont give me all the credit tho, your input to this little project of mine has been absolutely invaluable. I just love the comfort of the tamper that I ,or we, are using now!
