FS: Bezzera BZ35e

Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances I have been forced to sell my Bezzera.  I put it in to get a element replaced and they took it upon themselves to replace just about the entire machine, I have my doubts about whether it actually needed some of it though.  I am asking $1500 and will include a pressure gauge group handle with needle valve.  I bought the machine from Sparky in 07 and apart from the recent drama has been wonderful. 
It has had the following work carried out on it:
New Element
New Boiler
New Control Board
New Assembly Safety Valve
New Group Seal
New Shower
New Boiler Drain Pipe
New Element Gasket

In 07 it also had the 3 way valve replaced.

I am located in Wyong shire on the central Coast.

Why not keep it since essentially it is now a revitalised machine - everything old is now new?

Happy to post, and the reason for selling is that I cant actually afford the work that was done on it. The shop did it without asking..
I would have got the parts and rebuilt it myself as necessary over time, but whats done is done.

Im sure youve been through it with them but something here just does not sound right. Sorry I know this is OT but their stupidity is not your responsibility, if they performed unauthorised repairs its their loss, its your machine and you should get it back for the cost of a standard service.

If you havent signed a document which gives them the right to do what they want, they cant charge you for unauthorized work. Talk to consumer affairs.

replaced boiler!? and control board and just about the whole machine as you said!! thats totally ridiculous. If you take it up with the relevant authority, they will sort it out for you, you wont have to do any arguing.

At the very least you could make payment arrangements to pay the works off, if you would rather hang onto the machine?

But I do agree with others, its not good practise to perform expensive repairs without discussing it, and the cost, with you first! I would be taking it up with them to see if some sort of arrangement can be come to.
