I know its a cliche, but the time has come that I part with this machine after it serving me well after so many years. This is a unique machine. It has a brass boiler, Ive had the outside sand blasted and powder coated an Onyx Black - looks amazing and has no rust. Ive added some rubber ended feet for stability and the addition of the PID controller/solid state relay and a customised temperature probe inside produces a wonderful and consistent shot. Ive used this machine tp produce 1-2 shots a day for the past 10 years. (did all the restoration about 2 years agao).
I very recently had all the seals/pump replaced and the boiler descaled.
Enough of the sales pitch, here are the details:
What: Faema Family circa early 1980s - Brass boiler.
Where: Southbank, Victoria (happy to have you come in and try an espresso)
Comes with: Blind filter, more spare seals, spare drip tray that is modified for plumbed in drainage, smaller feet.
Price: $590 ONO
Please feel free to PM or post for any questions or offers.
Cheers,
Carlo.
