I am selling my beautiful Silvia V3 (bought new 7/12/10).
I bought her an Auber PID for Xmas 2011 and she responded by producing the most consistent espresso that I honestly wonder why we are separating.


No excuses for selling, she has never skipped a beat. She makes me happy twice a day in a way only she can.

She is perfect in every way and will make anybody happy at the drop of a switch.

There are so many pics of her around that I see little need to expose her again.
I will promise this…She is as good as new and shines like a new pin.

Hi Sando, having recently acquired a Silvia V3 via ebay I am keen to tame her wild and tempestuous ways - she flirts by occasionally delivering tasty coffee but most of the time she simply leaves me wanting so much more.

Having read your waxing description "she responded by producing the most consistent experience" can you tell me which variant of the Auber PID you bought - brew / brew + steam / pre-infusion + brew + steam?

Did you fit it yourself and was it difficult to do?

Auber PID without pre-infusion. (Brew and Steam control).
I chose the PID without the pre-infusion as I pre-infuse manually when brewing,
by simply switching on for 3 seconds then off for 3 seconds then on for the
25-30 second brew depending on the pour/flow.

I also prefer the option of stopping the pour when I have reached
either 30-40ml rather than have the PID at a set time cut off.

I fitted it myself and though not difficult did take about 2-3 hours to do.

The PID tamed Missy Silvia and is well worth the effort.
I Paid $249.00 for the PID Kit from Jetblack Espresso in Crows Nest.

Fitting the PID was a huge success, and a great help.
The brewing temp is consistant and stable and the results "in the cup" made it well worthwhile.

I have the original packaging and can forward to SA at postage costs at cost.
