C-Man, I'm not sure why you're cluttering out my sales thread with ad details from another website because the model you're referencing is completely different. :-) Also, your earlier comment was rather unhelpful and came out of a misreading of my Instagram message. What's up?

In any case, the model I'm selling is this one per La Pavoni's website; la Pavoni - Dal 1905 macchine per caffè

The one you're referring to is probably this one: la Pavoni - Dal 1905 macchine per caffè

However, both models are CURRENT and still being made by La Pav.

Of course, with coffee gear, there's always the quandary: to buy used or buy new. I pretty much only buy used gear as it offers better bang for buck...leaving me more money for beans.

My used Mazzer Mini ticked along for years. My used Promac aka Rancilio S24 ticked along for over 5 years before I sold it. etc.

So anyway, $800 gets you a Lever and Grinder. You decide whether it's a good deal or not.

I am seriously interested, just wanted information and facts that's all.

I have to compare to new price to understand the value

Some things are better done via PM. If you want to find out more about the machine, there's alot of stuff (including an extensive review on Coffeegeek) that you can find by using Google.

If you want to know more about the machine, I'd be happy to give you detailed answers by PM or otherwise. I don't get what the purpose of your last post was. You were asking me about the new price of a completely different machine! :-)

To keep things interesting, I'm going to do a reverse price sale. I'll keep taking $$ off the set until someone pulls the trigger or if it gets too low and I decide I'm better off putting it in storage until I get back to Australia.

Was $800 for the Lever and Grinder.

          NOW $780 for both.

I checked freight costs and it's about $35 to Sydney. Feel free to PM for quotes.

          Watch this space! :-)

              Daily price drop.

              Now $750 for both.

Moving into chump change territory. You could spend more on a new grinder than on these two. Buy it, use it, sell it on, gift it, use it as a paperweight. The choice is yours but that Lever is one sexy chunk of chrome!

Yon can view an extensive gallery here: https://plus.google.com/photos/11128...30377673058945

The grinder and the lever both have Aussie plugs.

Google plus images not appearing for me on my iPhone ???

Edit: to clarify, the link immediately above doesn't work. The earlier Google Plus link does work.

Not sure what the problem is but both links work for me and they are the same.

Lots of interest but mainly tire kickers who offer a price and then never respond even when I say OK! Go figure. Seems like most of said tire kickers are new users with 5 posts or less. Granted some have no idea what a La Pav Lever is! :-)

Shawn, it may be that your selling as a bundle is limiting potential buyers. Perhaps try offering them separately. Just a thought.
                          Cheers

Fair point Bern. I did offer it seperately in my original post.

To break it down right now, I'd like:

                            La Pavoni Lever $600
                            La Pavoni Jolly Grinder $170

A price break for those getting it as a bundle. Otherwise as I said, it can go into storage and I'll pull it out to use or sell again when I'm back.

Seems to be a slow time of year. People still feeling the credit crunch and paying off Christmas bills? :-)

                                Final price drop.

                                $150

                                La Pavoni Jolly Grinder

                                - I know there's not much info on this grinder on the internet. But it's probably the equivalent of the Rancilio Rocky.
                                - It's the version with the chrome back.
                                - This is made to pair with the Pavoni Lever machines.
                                - Condition notes: it works. Burrs are still sharp, motor goes strong. It's much better than the Sunbeam or those smaller grinders in that range.
                                - Only issues: missing the cover to the dosing chamber. You can 'hack' a cover by cutting a plastic takeaway lid or something similar. I plan to do that. Also, note that the plastic cover over the adjustment ring portion is missing. You can still adjust the grinder adjustement collar but it looks abit naked as this part is lost. You can order a replacement but I never bothered as it works fine.

Pick up from Kensington Victoria. I could possibly drop it off in Melbourne CBD.
