Well Id give the saeco baskets a try..... there is a major saeco service agent here in Perth.... I got baskets for the Solis SL90 which I had that way.....
Id imagine infinitely better if you have your dosing, distribution and tamping technique downpat. I received a box of pressurised baskets with my EM6910....threw at the back of some cupboard somewhere never to be found for another million years.
What diameter (internal) is the PF?..... a lot of the smaller than 58mm pfs will take saeco baskets (look up the saeco agents here in Perth and take your PF in) .... you will probably find they will have a non pressurised basket which will fit.
Each basket will cost you about $12..... and make a HUGE difference to the quality of the espresso...
But you will then need a good grinder and tamper which fits the basket closely.... use the 13.5 KG tamp etc.....
non pressurised baskets are not forgiving like the pressurised ones are.....
Does anyone have or know where I can get a Non pressurized PF basket single and double to fit the Breville 800 ES machine.
I live in Perth.
(I dont even know how much these things cost. What am I looking at cost wise to be a reasonable price?)
I have seen the Sunbeam PF baskets like the Breville (Crema Enhancers) and they look exactly the same. Same little single and double cup picture on the bottom of it. Maybe a Sunbeam PF basket will fit my machine as well.
I want to see the difference a Non poressurised Basket to the Crema enchancer baskets is on a shot.
