There are so many variables (i.e. tamp pressure, grind size, dose, beans) when it comes to achieving the godshot, and this is especially more visible when you have a naked portafilter.

If you have a consistent approach to dosing your coffee (tap-tap, fill, level), and you have your grinder set, and you swear your beans are fresh, the only variable left is tamp pressure, which is the hardest to achieve. There are days when you wake up with full of energy, you may tend to over tamp, and some days when you have a crappy nights sleep, you're weak and you may just lightly push your tamp down.

Having the Espro to guide you in those days are helpful. And I would definitely recommend it to the upcoming baristas.

Always wondered if I use the right pressure, just been by feel and how my shots come out is how I taught myself what pressure to use. If no one buys it soon I might just for curiosity.

Muscle memory? Since it always click at the constant pressure of 15kg after awhile you should be able to repeat without the click.

Well, that's the theory for me... But it does make my morning process easier

what makes the espro better to practice with?

I have finally mastered the art of tamping after months of practice with the Espro Click Tamper. I loved it very much but thought I should now pass this on to someone else who wants to perfect the art.

Tamp in perfect condition. I have packed it in the original box, and it comes with a manual. I have never read the manual before. The pictures speak for itself.

This is a 58mm flat tamper.
