    Hi
How much just for the grinder, I'm in Gisborne and can easily pick up. How old is it and any working order issues or slight problems?
    Cheers

Just waiting on the reply from the first enquiry on selling the grinder on its' own.

The grinder is about 5 years old, works perfectly and is in good condition.

I'm trying to find some info on the Boema, but struggling. Is this a HX or dual boiler? What's the specs (boiler capacity, OPV?, etc.)?
Also, I know this might sound silly, but what is a Bain Marie??

        Thanks!

A Bain Marie is a bath in which you wash a child name Marie. And it is also one those vessels used by cafeteria to keep food warm while it is served (i.e. it is typically a metal tray suspended over hot/boiling water)...has other purposes.

I can vouch for Linda and hubby, good honest people and this machine will be well looked after (I'm surprised to see it for sale!)

Bargain price for such a good single group commercial workhorse too!

              Thank you Andy

A bit of history on this.

I bought it off that place that is evil about 2 and a half years ago from a café that had closed down. The machine was in a very sad state of affairs, and sadly neglected. After bringing it home, we stripped it down, replaced anything that needed to be replaced with genuine Boema parts. The steam wand nozzle was also replaced. Both group handles and baskets were soaked for several days to remove the brown gunk that was left from the previous owner not cleaning them regularly. All stainless steel was polished and replaced back.

The machine has been run several times and comes up to temp beautifully every time. I am selling this as it is taking up bench space and the project that my husband was working on at the time in the shed is complete and it no longer serves a purpose.

It also comes with a Bain Marie ( keeps food warm over water) That is situated up the top at the rear. It does work, I have tested it.

It is a HX. The boiler is huge. I am unsure how big it is, but a rough guess maybe 5-6 lts? It takes a lot.

I have had some wonderful help with repairing this machine to how it should be from Boema themselves and Andy Freeman. I am sad to see it go, but I am hoping it will go to a place that will enjoy it like I have.

I know this is probably a stupid question but how would this machine be as an upgrade on an em6910?

My other option was the Vibiemme Piccolo or Silvia with PID

Depending on your bench space I would say this is a pretty amazing upgrade to the EM6910. Because it's a HX (heat exchanger) you can brew and steam at the same time, and because it's built like a tank with easy to find parts it should last you a VERY long time.

If you're wondering I made a similar upgrade from the EM6910 to a Rancilio S24. Trust me, well worth the upgrade!

Quite a considerable upgrade. This is classified as a commercial machine. At 45kgs you will need somewhere that can handle the weight and dimensions of it.

I am price dropping this to $500.
