I'm offering up a Compak K6 for sale. Platinum color. Used but in fairly good condition. It is mechanically sound. The only real major blemish is the plastic knob that covers the screw to remove the hopper has quite a few dings. Also, the tamper plastic "button" has a fairly large ding. Otherwise, this machine is pretty much immaculate.
I removed the hopper and the top burrs for a visual inspection and to give it a good clean. Bought this at the same time when I was picking up another grinder that I was going to use. Unfortunately, I don't know the actual life on the burrs. They look visually good. If you're concerned, you can replace the burrs. If you're not mechanically inclined, I can change the burrs for you if you bring it with you. Built in 04/2010.
Asking $480. Pick up from Surfers Paradise, Qld.
If you want to arrange for a courier, I have some bubble wrap and maybe an odd box here or there that might fit it. I believe you can get a quote from Interparcel and it's not too much depending on where you're headed. I just had a K10 shipped up from Sunshine, VIC and it was only about $25. Just as a warning, since this is a fairly large and heavy grinder with plastic parts and metal parts sticking out (hoppers, portafilter fork, etc), I will not be responsible for any damage during shipping if you choose to go this route. I will of course pack it as best as I can with my best effort but I have no control over what happens once it leaves me.
