  • !!!SOLD!!! - FS: Carimali Uno-e Single Group HX in Chrome (serious bling)

For Sale is my beloved Carimali Uno-e. Excellent condition. $1000

Purchased from another CSer in 2011. I stripped to pieces and thoroughly descaled, cleaned and rebuilt this machine with all new washers and seals. See thread: http://coffeesnobs.com.au/brewing-eq...e-rebuild.html

Previous owner had painted the chassis and added a new Sirai pressurestat before I bought it.

I believe it's about a 2000 model - plate is inside machine somewhere and I didn't have time to go looking now.

It has an engraving on the front from when it was leased out originally - see photos. I'm told it's first life was in the bar at the Hilton.

'Carol' has served me perfectly during my time with her. She has been plumbed in and fed water through a Brita C150 filter and softener, changed every 12 months.

This is a single group commercial machine - 3.5L copper boiler HX with rotary pump, 1600W, 240V, 10amp with chromed brass group head. The body is chromed and is basically a mirror (as seen in pics) - serious bling.

Rotary pump can pull from an external tank if desired, but I've ran her plumbed in. The rotary pump is fully enclosed in the machine (not external under sink job like some commercials).

Comes with a double, single and naked portafilter and a double, single and blind filter.

She has been regularly back flushed with Caffetto.

She is due for a new group seal, but not needing it so far.

This is pick up only - in Minnamurra NSW 2533 (next to Kiama). She weighs a tonne and I don't have the time to sort out how to ship her.

    $1000

Not the greatest pour but still good - didn't have time for multiple pulls just for the camera.

    PM me if interested.
    Test drives welcome.

I'm also selling a Fiorenzato Doge 63 flat burr grinder if interested.

Forgot to say - it also got a new anti-vac valve and safety valve when it was rebuilt.

I have no need for this machine, but it's very pretty, a nice change from the generic box design of most machines.

How are you planning to continue your coffee journey post Carol? Upgrading?

                    Hey Phatboy and Bazooka,
it's an Elektra Nino. Big conical grinder - it's absolutely awesome.

yes continuing my coffee journey. I actually have three machines so offloading one to clear benchspace for the wife...and to slowly bring her around to the idea of buying another - maybe an Izzo lever or similar in a few months.

I will now consider freight on this machine, and am open to offers to assist with subsidising the freight.

I've pulled the trigger on my upgrade and it will be arriving soon, so need to clear the space.

Price drop $900 +freight. Test drives and pick up welcome.
Need to move it as my new machine is on its way and I need the bench space.
