The funnel shaped gizmo on top of the roaster holds a magnifying glass that focuses the sun's rays onto the bean mass in the drum.

Due to a change in circumstances, I'm selling my 2kg Solar roaster. It's in excellent condition, roasts beans consistently to a high standard time and time again and is very easy to maintain. It's a great way for people to get into the 2kg range of roasters and really is great to use. Comes complete with the maintenance manual and I'm more than happy to do a roast with the successful buyer to run though how the machine works if need be.
