Hi guys,
Since my upgrade to a E61 machine, my good old EM6900 is just sitting around.
Was working great and producing consistent shots, before I decided to replace the group head seal, which is too thin and requires a shim. I've tried making one up, with no real success. I can't get it to seal 100%. The replacement seal I had has sat around for a few years so may need a brand new one.
Just grab one off Ebay with a shim or even better, find an actual 6900 group head seal and away you go.
Everything works other than that. Steam is good. Pump is good. Can be a little noisy, but does the job.
Would be a good machine for playing around with mods, without the risk of ruining your expensive machine. Replace the seal, or use it for parts.
