In the time it's taken to find a new home for this thing, I'll be damned if I haven't fallen for it. Going to have to find space somehow...

Sorry guys - I'll retract those specs. Lifted them from elsewhere without adequate checking - my bad. Can''t find a full set of specs for the S24
Definitely an S24 vibe pump.
Dimensions in mm are 465 (H) x 380 (W) x 515 (D)
Also features a plastic drip tray, no hook up to drain. This is the benchtop, tank version.

And your dimensions don't add up. Not sure if the mm or inches are correct.

Hi walrus84,
I`m pretty sure the S24 has a vibration pump, the procon pump is the S26 model, might pay to lift the cup tray and see what pump you have, you may have the S26 ?.

!!!WITHDRAWN!!! - For Sale: Rancilio S24 (Red) $500 (Sydney)
Hi CoffeeSnobs,
I recently acquired a Rancilio S24, as a potential upgrade. When I received it it wasn't working. I had it serviced by a technician in Sydney, who replaced the pressurestat, cleared the solenoid and cleaned the group. He also installed a new group seal and shower screen. It is now in working order. The price I have indicated essentially covers the cost of this servicing and my cost of acquiring the machine - I'm not looking to make a profit here.
I have tested the machine at home and decided she's not for me - I'm going to continue looking for a different HX machine. just can't squeeze it into my kitchen!
I suspect this machine would find a good home with someone who's willing to give it a bit of love and attention. I think it would benefit from a thorough clean by someone with the time and knowhow. I suspect there's a bit of scale buildup - there's a slight smell from steam delivery. I've run some commercial descaler through the machine, but it would probably reward removal and cleaning of the boiler. There's some scratches and small chips on the red panels - not entirely surprising for a machine of this vintage.
Please note that I don't have group handles or baskets for this machine (I didn't get them at acquisition). However, these are widely available (I used my Silvia handle on it no problems, but need to hang on to that for the time being)
As I don't know the full pedigree of this machine before I received it, sale is as is. I've tried to fully disclose everything here - but please feel free to ask any questions.
Hopefully this machine can find a happy new home
$500 and it's yours. Pick up in Sydney inner west or Lindfield (north shore) available.
