Base is stainless steel. Measured with a ruler (the best tool i have at home), it is 58.0mm.

Hi there,
Ive just had a quick look on the reg barber website.
Is the tamper precisely 58 mm or one of the little smaller or larger ones ?
Also, what is the base made from ?

Good morning guys,

Have a spare RB tamper for sale. Using my Pullman, more (and i have a red RB still).

Handle is prefect, no scares. The base is 58mm and has some minor blemish that will not affect tamping performance.
