!!!PRESUMMED SOLD!!! - FS: Mazzer Kony E Grinder (MELB)

Hi all,

Putting up for sale my Mazzer Kony E Grinder, silver in colour for $1,600 pickup in Melbourne CBD.

It has 1033 on the shot clock, but I recently had my tech change the burrs on last week with the latest production of original Mazzer Kony burrs. You can also have the old burrs if you like as I think there's plenty of wear left in those.

Only been used at home, probably about 3 double shots a day apart from dialing in.

Not much hasn't been said on the forums about this grinder - nice fluffy grind, 20 grams in about 6.8 seconds, low in noise, etc.

Selling to possibly upgrade to an EK 43, TerraNova-upgraded VersaLab or similar.

Happy to send at cost but I don't have the original foam.. I have the original box, manual and included accessories. I could put in other foam and pack it as well as I can, but I can't guarantee it's absolute safety so pick up is best. Pack and send custom foam inserts could be an option?

Thanks guys for the comments and looking. This has been now sold to an awesome guy.

Tamper collection has now grown with the PergTamp, which I'm finding to bring some subjective improvement if you do adjust your recipe

Same thoughts as most that have posted. Nutation or not, it does a better job at compacting more of the grinds and gives a cleaner side wall.

In the cup, more sweetness but you have to watch out you're not over-extracting.

I don't get the ridicule that Matt gets for this. It's not more in cost than the standard Pullman tampers which a lot have, but he's made the effort to share what he's found to improve his coffee.
