[QUOTE=E-Gene;549832]I remember looking at it when the exchange rate was better and it came up to be about AUD1100, it's now AUD1600+.

Ouch!!! Worth every cent though, IMHO....

When buying from the US with the item purchased from and delivered to outside the state where the selling business is located there should be no sales tax charged. You might have to fill out a form depending on the state/business. Contact the company direct to see how they deal with it.

          Looks like a great grinder.

Another thing to keep in mind is you may be charged import duty / GST if the value (including shipping) is $1000 AUD or more.

          Cheers

At a guess, I'd say he's talking about GST (ie the buying-from-the-US tax), especially given the final AUD price.

                  You win. !!

Mine's not here, but it can't be too far away now.
I can't find it, but I'm sure I saw a charge to do with the item leaving California. I'm not anticipating paying any import duty though.. From conversations I've had.

                  Yep. $1400 odd.
