Will post photos when I get back home on Monday. Originally purchased at Jet Black in 2007 (back when it was a cafe!)

Photos as promised. Close up of the metal look plastic that is bubbling and has come away slightly. Let me know if you want to see anything specific.

If you're interested in this machine I wouldn't worry about the bubbling plastic. I had the same machine and the bubbling had become much worse (the foil had come away exposing the white plastic underneath). When I picked up the machine from service, they replaced this part with a brand new one. I think it only cost $10 or so.

Someone recently I recall painted the ssme part black which looked pretty smart.

Actually that part costs about 40-50 depending on where you source it.

Sure is. And I'll throw in some home roasted beams too.

Hi I have some questions about this machine.
Is any reason in particular why you installed the pid on it?
Does have any rust on other parts of the body?
                        Thanks
                        Adi

The pid keeps the temperature much more constant than the stock thermostat. Very easy to return to stock thermostat if you wish. I don't recall seeing any rust. I'll have a good look and get back to you.

I was wondering if had a problem with the boiler or the old thermostat. I do understand now what is the purpose for the pid.
Please let me know if has any rust on the body.
                            Thanks

Just had another look over the machine. I could not find any rust.
