  • !!!SOLD!!! - FS: Perth - Bezzera Domus Galatea II

For sale is a 2011 Bazzera Domus Galatea version 2.

It is a E61 group heat exchange machine, 2 litre boiler with a built in tank and vibe pump. Has swivel steam and water wands with soft close taps, boiler pressure and brew pressure gauge.

The machine is in fantastic condition, looks almost new but does have some very minor markings mainly on drip tray grate from normal use.

Used with softened and filtered water from c150 filter. Has had a water backflush after each session and chemical backflush every couple of weeks.

I installed a Cafelat silicone group seal and an in tank water softener filter.

I also installed sound deadening material on the inside of the panels.

    Included in sale:

    Coffee machine
    Two group handles
    Single spout
    Double spout
    Single basket
    Double basket
    Blind filter
    Owners manual
    Cleaning powder

    Price $1800 negotiable.

    Cheers

What a steal! I might add that Bezzeras are built like a tank and built to last. If i didn't have one myself, I'd be picking this one up in a flash.

Yes, built very well. Very heavy duty metal chassis including front panel (behind the stainless), no flex at all locking in the PF.

Also the tank can be refilled by flipping up the hinged lid (back half of top panel), so no need to lift entire top like some machines.

The machine has a low water level cut out and auto boiler fill, so you can safely use a timer to switch it on.

Some more pics below of the inside when I have the covers off to install the sound deadening.

      Cheers

The steam and water wands are ball jointed, ie free to move wherever you like. That's what I meant to say in the first post.

            Cheers

Hi artman. I own one of these beauties and I know this isn't really the thread for this but what did you use as sound deadening, how was it done and what were the results? Would really appreciate it if I could find out a way to make it a bit quieter. I don't find it that noisy but an improvement is welcome. cheers Al

                Hi Gonzo

Can't recall exact name, but it was the sound deadening, self stick, heavy material with aluminium backing. Had positive results on reducing the noise.

I will dig up the details and post up on the sound deadening thread when I get a chance.

                Cheers

The roll is huge, I used the same stuff on stainless sinks which made them very quiet (when water hits it or something placed in it).

                    Cheers
