Hi All,

I have 2 gaggia classics for sale for $280 each, purchased second hand last year. These are used mainly on the weekend (alternating) when I have had time, but I'm needing to let it go as I'm a poor student and need to upgrade my 5 year old computer for my thesis work. Both have been back flushed regularly and kept in pretty good knick.

Why two? I had one and like it and saw another not working for cheap and though I could fix it up and enjoyed the tinker. The plan was to pid one and sell the other to pay for the pid but never got round to it so both are going.

Both come with a diy naked portafilter, single and double baskets and double spout basket, steam wands are stock. I don't have a tamper (well I do but you wont want it) for either as my gf's father is a toolmaker and was going to make me one so I never got around to buying one, but he never got round to making one either so I've stuck with what I made with a holesaw and some wood.

No milk jug for sale either as I would like to hold onto this for future purchases. I drink it black mostly but was able to get decent microfoam with practice so never bothered converting.

Personally, I enjoy the coffee coming out but have found temp surfing a pain, so going to save next year for something with a bigger boiler and pid.

The first was always working, the second was purchased not working and I replaced the temp fuse, thermostats and pump.

Also have a few spares as I collected bits and pieces. From memory there is a boiler, dispersion screen and block which the dispersion screen attaches to. Looking for $70 and wont separate.

Shipping is possible for all and i'll try my utmost to make sure they are protected but no guarantees on their safety.
For Sydney folk, I'm based in the shire but leave frequently enough to possibly meet in the cbd or near UNSW.

Couldn't find the single basket (edit: found), never used it personally. Also includes a thermal-couple to gronk your machine attached. I used the jaycar thermometer to read what temp it had. The tip on the steam wand is also missing, if found will include but I used without as much better steaming was able. No lid on top of water tank, never worried about it.

For newbies, happy to show you the set up and how to work the machine. Also happy to include some backflush powder for both machines if requested to get you started. More photos available on request.

Bits and pieces:

Please note, boiler upper would suit gaggia classic but set up is from another gaggia which doesn't have a 3 way solenoid. Boiler needs a scrub but limited pitting. Let me know if you would like more photos.

Pump is included but not working. Buyers may request not to have it in shipped package.

Thermostat which hasn't got its tip removed is for steam.

Steam arm and tubing is included.

Extra power cable.

Bolts for boiler and attaching to machine body.

Note the copper steam arm has an additional outlet which will need a blind if you want it to work.

2 double spouts 1 plastic 1 metal, not pictured but included.
