I bought this portafilter after being gauranteed it would fit my 70's professional . It didn't .I took a smidge off the "ears" hoping to make it fit , no luck . I don't know when pavoni went to the bigger group head but for sure pre mid 90's .
If you have a more recent professional or europicolla and would like a naked thingo you can have this for $70. I paid $125 + shipping . It is brand new apart from where I have sanded the chrome off the ears to try and make it fit my machine . You don't see this when the portafilter is locked in place and no chance of a rust problem as the whole thing is chrome plated brass .
