I have a 2005 Silva version - 1.5 (This is my number) well it is the the first one with an adjustable OPV that is set to 9bar. the Rocky is of the same vintage. The Silvia has a Watlow extraction PID which can also be used to surf the steam temperature.
It is still working to test it - it made some great coffee this morning - not bitter not sour. The folk were divided as to whether is was strong or on the weaker side. I thought on the weaker side but it still had a great kick in later. I was using a M4D grinder but only got the grind approximately right.
I am asking $250 as it includes the grinder, a tamper and the handle with a 14gm Rancillio basket.
But I am in Perth.
I have upgraded over the years to two Rockets and the Silvia - much loved is just not being used.
It is currently in Nedlands WA.
