After picking up a new machine from a fellow snob I now have some entry level equipment for beginners starting out on their coffee hobby/obsession. Also trying to raise funds for the "I want a new grinder" fund
I have for sale:
Breville BES840 Infuser
Purchased new in April 2015 from Myer. Features pre-infusion, PID for temp stability and a pressure gauge (which is gimmicky but I suppose gives you an idea of how your grind/dose/tamp variables are working). Volumetric or manual shot delivery. Pulls perfectly nice shots and is very easy to get nice microfoam milk texture. Perfect entry to the coffee world for beginners.
Everything works, well looked after (I'm pretty pedantic that way) and comes with everything you'd get when bought new including: stainless steel milk jug, Breville tamper which mounts magnetically into the machine (but is crap so I'll throw in a much better quality tamper as well), single and double wall filter baskets, cleaning tablets, Razor dosing tool, instruction manual and original packaging.
Asking $200 ono

Also available are 2 grinders which would pair nicely with the machine for great coffee every day.
Gaggia MDF doser grinder
Great quality flat burr grinder that will produce consistently excellent grind quality time after time. Bought new from Di Bella in 2011 and has gone through approx 1kg of beans a month since. Have modded to stepless adjustment using the teflon tape method. Just gave it a thorough clean this weekend but may go back to using it for the meantime until it sells as I prefer it to the Lelit grinder advertised below. Still have original packaging and instruction manual (I think).
Asking $150 ono

Lelit PL043MM
Solid entry level, doserless, conical burr grinder. Micrometric adjustment, grind on demand and is nice and small to fit in even the coziest of kitchens.
Asking $150 ono

Feel free to ask any further details. All items located in Springwood (South of Brisbane). Would prefer pickup but would consider posting at buyers expense if no local interest.
Cheers, Brent
