Selling my beloved k3. I stupidly cross threaded it putting it back together after a clean. Can't get it to screw back together now.
So I'm hoping to sell it to someone with the knowledge to fix it themselves. Has been faultless for the last 2 years, regularly cleaned. Just has a small chip out of the hopper lid.

Really sorry to hear that Owlee. Sadly my experience has been that a cross thread can sometimes effectively be terminal. Good thing that you have the upper burr our as I've seen a few jammed in- for good.

Hopefully it's a good fixerupper for someone with the right gear to make it work. GLWS.

Owlee, do you have any advice on what not to do in order to make sure others don't experience the same? (ie. what went wrong?)

Wasn't paying enough attention when I was rethreading. Must have been just out. It felt a little tighter than usual, but I wasn't thinking too much into it.

I wonder if a machinist can get it re-threaded. Such a pity to be without a grinder because of a silly mistake.

Apparently they can rethread it. I'm just looking at it this way, I get to upgrade and someone gets a good cheap grinder out of it with a little effort.
